Long accused of being a racist, Mahathir also did not fail to repeat his frequent warning against the encroaching power of the Chinese in the country.

He has been using this as a bogey-man to scare the Malays into supporting Umno, a cancerous form psychology that only Umno could suppress and stop the non-Malays from overtaking the Malays.

"I had said 10 years ago we will be losing power but we are now losing power. For almost anything we have to ask the Chinese to support or else we are finished. So in actuality we are the minority, anything we want to do, we will be asked, what will the Chinese get? If it is like this it will be difficult,” he said.”

Soi Lek scare-mongers: Genting to become victim if Pakatan wins

“GENTING HIGHLANDS-Malaysia may lose its favourite tourist attraction Genting High­lands if Pakatan Rakyat takes over the Government and implements hudud law, said MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek.

He added that Genting Malaysia Bhd, which hosts the country’s only legal casino, would not go down well with PAS if they come into power.

“In Kelantan, the PAS government does not even allow lottery outlets. If they manage to take over the Government, we know they want to implement hudud law and Genting could be the first victim,” he said after presenting prizes to the winners of the 15th Malaysia National Lion Dance Championship 2011 here yesterday.”

“Asri bidas Hassan Ali kerana hina Islam: Adakah Injil lebih kuat?

Ulama Islam terkenal Asri Zainul Abidin membidas pemimpin PAS, Hasan Ali kerana memandang rendah kekuatan iman umat Islam selepas Hasan melahirkan kebimbangan sehari yang lalu dengan menyuarakan bahawa umat Islam boleh terpengaruh oleh orang Kristian yang menggunakan alat-alat berteknologi tinggi.

Asri, bekas mufti Perlis, juga membidas Hasan untuk membuktikan bahawa pengaruh Injil adalah lebih besar daripada Al-Quran

"Ia adalah satu penghinaan kepada umat Islam dan iman orang Islam. Seolah-olah umat Islam yang mendengar bacaan Al kitab akhirnya akan terpengaruh," kata Asri dalam satu kenyataan yang dikeluar pada hari Jumaat.
